Get closer to the sky by visiting the Calouste Gulbenkian Planetarium, which will amaze you with its 25 meter dome, allowing you to feel like an astronaut among the stars. In one of the largest planetariums in the world, you will be able to participate in various programs which will allow you to understand what goes on beyond the range of your vision.

In addition to the auditorium, there is also a gallery with various thematic exhibitions, an astronomical observatory (under construction), and a library. The Planetarium is part of the Live Science program and is an active partner in several national and international astronomy projects.

In this facility, it is possible to understand the challenges that sailors once faced when navigating the unknown oceans, while studying the challenges facing modern explorers as they try to probe infinite space.
