Anderson and Regina celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary with a Stopover in Lisbon

The couple loved Lisbon so much that they are thinking of moving to Portugal when they retire

Anderson and Regina, from Rio de Janeiro, had always wanted to visit the Portuguese capital. They decided that their 16th wedding anniversary was the ideal moment to use the Portugal Stopover programme to visit Lisbon. Anderson spoke about the fantastic opportunity to “see the popular tourist locations and to have an explanation of, and some historical background to, what happened back in the day.” For Regina, “there are few cities in the world with such a rich and varied history as Lisbon.” The Portugal Stopover app proved very useful to the couple: “I thought the offline map was a very interesting idea. It helped us find and reach the locations we wanted to visit.” They concluded that “even for those who don’t want to stay long, with Stopover Portugal they can have a great time in just one day. They will fall in love and want to come back!” The passion was overwhelming for Anderson and Regina: “We are thinking about coming to live in Portugal when we retire!”
